Programming will begin Thursday night with an opening banquet in the Morris Inn's Private Dining Hall. Mike Wessells of Christian Children's Fund and Randolph-Macon College, and Sister Dianna Ortiz, founder of Torture Abolition & Survivors Support Coalition, will be the evening's key presenters. During the following day and a half we'll challenge ourselves to go beyond our current knowledge and resources for attending to the welfare of our staff and volunteers. We'll learn, discuss, and gain new insights through plenary sessions and a range of breakouts in various formats (click on each Breakout Session below for more details, or click here to see the whole program). Throughout the conference, we'll brainstorm together about what we need and what we can accomplish as a community. Friday evening we will dine at the historic Beiger Mansion. This will be a fun and relaxed affair, with great food and socializing. During the next few weeks, as breakout sessions are finalized, we'll be updating this page with more detailed information.
