The Idealist Guide to Nonprofit Careers is available as free PDFs. If you are experiencing problems with the PDFs, here are a few helpful solutions you can try.
Be sure to download the PDF file, rather than merely opening it in a browser window. To download the PDF to your computer, right-click (or control-click on a Mac) on the link to the desired PDF. In the menu that appears, choose the option to "Save file as" (some browsers use similar phrases like "Save target as" or "Download linked file as"). By selecting this option, the PDF file will download and save onto your computer rather than opening in your web browser. This will improve the display and performance of the file on your computer.
If a PDF fails to open or does not display properly, consider upgrading to the latest version of Adobe's free Acrobat Reader software. Older versions of the software may not display the PDF files accurately. You can download the latest version of Acrobat Reader here.
