Description:
Three days of art instruction from professional artist, Jim Howle.
Jim Howle graduated from the Ringling Art School and from the very first class of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey's Clown College in 1968. Touring seven years as tramp clown,"Hobo Jim", with the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey's Circus he performed in "The Greatest Show on Earth" and was the shows official clown artist. In 1994, Jim became an inductee in the International Clown Hall of Fame. His art work is included in the Portrait Gallery of the Smithsonian Institute and the Leningrad Gallery. Instruction will include Pencil Drawing, Charcoal Drawing and Acrylic Painting for the advanced, professional, or beginner.
A second art instructor may join us, and will be announced on the Emmett Kelly Museum web site.
This meeting is for:
Any adult (age 14 and older),who is interested in creating art. Professional, student or beginner.
Directions:
North of Hwy. 166 and Hwy. 99 junction.
Held at the Kurtis Arts Plaza, 201 S. Douglas St., located one block south on Douglas from Main Street.
