Travel

Most of the conference sessions will take place on DePaul University's Loop Campus. The campus is about an hour “El” (public transportation) train ride from both Midway and O’Hare International airports.
 
Getting to the Conference

Driving:

*Please allow $5-7 for possible toll fees. Visit www.mapquest.com to get directions from your starting point to the DePaul Center (1 E. Jackson Boulevard, Chicago, IL 60604).

From the South:
Depending on where you are coming from, take I-57 or I-55. Both of these highways will take you all the way to down town Chicago. Exit at Congress/Lakeshore Drive . From there use this map to get to the DePaul Center.

From the East:
Take I-90 all the way to downtown Chicago. Get off on Lakeshore Drive, which runs all across the downtown area. From there use this map to get to the DePaul Center.

From the North:
Take I-90 or I-94, depending on where north you are. If you are taking I-90 you will merge onto I-94 approximately 45 miles outside of the city. Take I-90 all the way downtown, there get off on Ohio. From there use this map to get to the DePaul Center.

From the West using I-90:
Take I-90 to Madison, and then follow to Rockford. From there take I-90 all the way to downtown Chicago. From there use this map to get to the DePaul Center.

From the West using I-80:
Take I-80 till you merge onto I-88. From I-88 merge onto 290. Take 290 all the way to downtown Chicago. From there use this map to get to the DePaul Center.

From Midway Airport

Take the Midway Orange line train towards the Loop. Get off on the Library/State stop. From there walk to State Street and walk North till Jackson . DePaul University Loop Campus will be located at the south east corner of Jackson and State.

From O'Hare Airport:

Take the O'Hare Blue line train towards the Loop and get off at the Jackson stop. Walk through the underground tunnel toward the Jackson Red line. Don't actually board the Red line train – instead look for the nearest exit. The Red line exits will leave you right across the DePaul University Loop Campus.

Taking a taxi

The address of the DePaul Center is 1 E. Jackson. The building is located on the corner of Jackson and State Streets in the Loop.
Normal rates from the airports to the downtown area are around $40-$45.
