Apply to be a Facilitator

Deadline for Applications: February 19th, 2007
Extended deadline: February 22nd, 2007

The Idealist Campus Conference is a gathering of students, campus staff, nonprofit professionals, and year of service members from around the United States – and, increasingly, from around the world who come together for a weekend of skill-building, networking, socializing, and most importantly, challenging and rewarding dialogue about the issues that matter most to campus community members in 2007.

This dialogue will mainly take place in Co-op Groups - ‘circles’ of attendees who meet regularly over the course of the conference for productive and inspiring dialogue. Each group will have 15 - 20 participants and will be facilitated by two trained participants. It is our hope that after the conference these groups will use tools available online to stay in touch, support one another, and sustain the momentum generated during Co-op Group sessions at the conference.

We are actively seeking students and professionals with a range of experiences to facilitate these groups and help personalize the mission of the Idealist Campus Conference. If you are interested in taking on this leadership role, please review the following expectations, respond to the questions below and submit this document as an attachment to facilitator@idealist.org, SUBJECT: “Facilitator Application – YOUR NAME” by 5p EST, Thursday, February 22nd.

You will be notified of your selection status no later than a week after the deadline.
