 The ICCT is seeking a creative individual with a passion for clean transportation and strong content analysis and summarization skills to join our Beijing office in the CBD area of Beijing, China. with a passion for clean transportation and strong content analysis and summarization skills to join our Beijing office, located in the CBD area of Beijing, China.  

 

To excel in our environment, you must demonstrate intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, and the ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds across the globe. The communications intern will provide support for all communication efforts within ICCT's China programs and will report to our China Communications and Public Relations Manager. 

 

You Will:  

 

  • Collaborate with the communication team to execute brand-building initiatives.  
  • Assist with the operation and maintenance of the Chinese website. 
  • Provide support in content and data analysis, as well as summary.  
  • Participate in planning and executing communication events. 
  • Aid in the translation of materials as needed. 

 

You Have: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in transportation, environment, communication, public relations, or related majors. 
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week for a minimum of 6 months or longer. 
  • Prior experience in website management, content curation, analysis, and summarization is preferred. 
  • Demonstrated passion for clean transportation, environmental issues, and climate change; familiarity with low carbon sustainable transportation policy is advantageous. 
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, as well as reading comprehension. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivation are indispensable. 

 

Our Benefits 

 

The internship will be based in the ICCT Beijing office and will have a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extending it to 12 months. The ICCT will provide a laptop and other office equipment as needed. We are offering a salary of CNY ¥3,200 a month (96 hours a month).
