The individual should possess a high degree of independence, impeccable written communications skills, solid research experience (college-level work), and demonstrated interest in girls and women in sport. The individual should be a self-starter, able to take direction, create an organizational planner around stated priorities and timelines. The individual should be proactive in their assignments, looking at innovative approaches with expansive thinking. The candidate should have excellent verbal skills and be able to communicate clearly and regularly about progress, challenges and project insights.
Responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
• Research to support current projects (Play to Lead, Regional Study)
• Prospective research on new topics to examine
• Development of external facing one sheets descriptive of WSF’s most recent studies
• Exploratory research on new scholars that bring expertise and diversity to the WSF’s work
• Updating Research library
• Developing research concepts papers for prospective funders
