Executive Director

Purpose of Position:

·      To give direction and leadership toward the achievement of the planning, implementation and evaluation of the mission, strategic goals, objectives, and initiatives of UI, particularly through the work at the UN and other NGOs, and with Coalition members at the local level, and globally.

·      To initiate effective leadership, mentoring, administrative, organizational, resources, and financial management of UI.

·      With the President of the Board, to enable the Board to fulfill its governance function.

·      To effectively mentor, manage and support staff, volunteers, and interns with UNANIMA, enabling the achievement of UI’s mission and goals.

Profile of Ideal Candidate

·      Visionary Leader with energy and enthusiasm for the 2030 Sustainable Agenda

·       Passionate Advocate for Justice and the integrity of creation

·       Practitioner of applied analysis to systemic roots of injustice, and systemic solutions

·       Strong Communicator and Facilitator (fluent in spoken and written English)

·       Community Builder and Team Leader

·       Able to Travel Internationally as required

·       Transferrable Management Skills

·       Preferably a Professed Woman Religious

Consistent with NY Archdiocesan stipend package
