Background

Jewish Funders Network is an international community of private foundations and philanthropists whose mission is to promote meaningful giving and to improve philanthropy in the Jewish world. We have more than 3,000 members from 11 countries.

The role

This part-time (20 hours per week), remote position will be the administrative and logistical support for JFN’s two regional offices. They will report to JFN’s Senior Manager of Philanthropic Engagement.  We are a fast-paced (and fun) organization and often pivot directions based on member needs and external circumstances.

Tasks include the following:

●     meeting management (including scheduling and documentation) for both in-person and virtual meetings

●     coordinating multiple calendars across platforms and individuals

●     maintaining spreadsheets, document and tracking systems (including Google Drive and Monday.com),  project management platforms such as Monday.com, and multiple communications platforms

●     monitoring and communicating projects via email

●     use presentation tools and scheduling tools

●     performing data hygiene support

●     supporting event budget keeping and expense tracking

This role may also be asked to support other members of staff as needed. We are looking for a “people person” as the position requires external  interaction, both written and verbal, with program partners, members, and organizational and community leaders.

Qualifications

Highly motivated and able to work independently.  A detail-oriented problem solver, with excellent organizational and time management skills.

●    Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace(including Excel and Google spreadsheets), Monday.com, and Zoom webinars.  Experience with a CRM platform preferred.

●    Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience in formal professional communications, including email and letter formats.

●    Experience in event or meeting planning and operations

●     Ability to engage diverse audiences, including organization staff, members, and outside experts
