alabama village revitalization committee Inc. (avrc Inc.)is a community action organization that is comprised of members of the alabama village community located in Prichard al. This community is infested with some of the highest crime,teen pregnancy and unemployment rates in the entire city. our group has chosen to undertake the efforts to help rebuild pride in the community by educating residents,cleaning overgrown lots and trash. The City Of Prichard filed bankruptcy in 1999 and services provided by the City is very limited. therefore we have formed this organization to help close the financial gap.
