The SoHo and TriBeCa Partnerships
are privately funded 501(c)3 nonprofit
organizations that have provided
street and sidewalk maintenance
and refuse removal to the busy
blocks of those communities for ten
and six years respectively. The SoHo
and TriBeCa Partnerships’ mission
is to provide employment, placement
and retention assistance to
recovering homeless individuals
through on-the-job training and
educational workshops. The
readiness portion of the program
spans four to six months includes
daily four-hour work shifts of
community maintenance providing
SoHo and TriBeCa with clean and
inviting streets. Upon graduating
from the program, graduates are
assisted by a Job Developer to gain
full-time employment.
