The Lupus Foundation of America, Inc., New Mexico Chapter's mission is to educate and support those affected by lupus and find a cure. The Chapter provides a support group meeting once a month. The meeting is held the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m., at Manor Care Health Services 7900 Constitution NE (NEXT TO PRESBYTERIAN KASEMAN HOSPITAL)Albuquerque, NM. The Chapter has two support groups in Espanola and Roswell, NM. The Chapter tries to cover the whole state by doing as many health fairs as possible. For instance, the Chapter did twenty health fairs in different areas of New Mexico last year. The Chapter holds symposiums every other year and the Chapter has been on both Radio and Television in New Mexico.
