Teach Kentucky is a community based new teacher recruitment effort sponsored by local alumni associations of 11 highly-selective national institutions. We also have an "at-large" pathway for graduates from other schools. We recruit high-achieving, highly motivated recent college graduates to teach in the critical hiring need areas of two of our local public school districts. We focus on non-certified graduates who are willing to invest themselves in this community. We provide participants significant educational and mentoring support from our alumni base.
