Mission:
The job search process can be difficult and stressful. We can help you to organize and focus your search, discover the right tools and approaches, prepare for an interview, and achieve the confidence you need to get the job you want.
The CFL Workers Assistance Committee was founded in 1994 to assist dislocated workers throughout the process of finding quality reemployment. We maintain an extensive bank of potential employers; we prepare professional résumés, and do job matching searches based on skills. Our services include referrals, consultations, and career counseling. We offer assistance in English, Spanish and Polish.
Since 1994, we have placed many workers in new jobs, and we have an excellent success rate with client reemployment. Many of our clients have found rewarding work at a higher salary than they received from their previous employment.
