Mission:
The American Civil Liberties Union of Arizona is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to the defense of the Bill of Rights. Our staff of four employees and numerous volunteers work in a fast-paced, friendly office located in bustling midtown Phoenix. The ACLU of Arizona is an affiliate of the National ACLU – the nation’s foremost organization defending and advancing civil liberties and civil rights principles through advocacy, litigation, legislative lobbying, and public education programs. The ACLU litigates a broad range of constitutional cases in federal and state court including, but not limited to, free speech, religious freedom, reproductive rights, LGBT issues, equal protection, due process, and privacy rights.
