Our agency serves refugees and immigrants with services including family-based immigration, employment assistance and resettlement case management. Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist the Refugee Case Manager in meeting the needs of new arrivals including health, English as a Second Language and social services referrals. Alternately, volunteers will be able to assist the Citizenship and Immigration Program Coordinator with helping clients with the immigration process, preparation for the citizenship ‘test’ and English language practice. This placement could be of interest to those interested in social work, international relations, political science, foreign languages, migration studies, planning and public policy. We are a multifaceted organization always looking for good people to help us with a large variety of tasks.
