To provide legal information and social services support to pregnant and parenting adolescents in New York City’s under-resourced communities in order to prevent parent-child separations, episodes of child neglect and abuse as well as repeat pregnancies. We also work to organize young mothers within the framework of the Reproductive Justice Movement around education issues and child welfare reform. The Brooklyn Childcare Collective places an emphasis on adolescents in or aging out of foster care.
