Mission:
The majority of the world's hungry are farmers. One Acre Fund is a targeted anti-poverty solution for these farmers, starting in Kenya. We were launched in January 2006, and have already attracted several major awards.
We invest in farms, creating a permanent hunger solution for poverty for a family of six. Our investment results in a lasting, 400% gain in food output. This is enough to eliminate hunger spells, halt childhood stunting, and create hope for the future.
We work only with the poorest of farmers, those that are experiencing acute hunger (three months per year). Our vision is to transform these people into productive, healthy families. There is an old saying that goes: if you give a man a fish, he can eat for a day. If you teach a man to fish, he can eat for a lifetime. More at: www.oneacrefund.org
We are looking to build an elite, revolving team of business volunteers to manage several of our most important projects. Please review our "internships" and only respond if you are qualified for a management-level role. Thanks for reading!
