Mission: To provide effective, accessible, and culturally relevant mental health services to children, teens, and their families; to coordinate our services with allied agencies, community partners, and other professional organizations; and to offer quality professional training in a range of mental health disciplines including clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, and predoctoral clinical psychology. The Guidance Center (formally called Greater Long Beach Child Guidance Center) has been serving the greater Long Beach area since 1946, and now provides direct services from six locations in four southeast Los Angeles county cities. United Way member agency affiliated with Miller Children's Hospital.
