Our mission is to raise the living and working standards of New York's Chinese community. We conduct organizing, advocacy, education, and direct service programs that involve ordinary residents in the decision making processes that affect their lives. We bring together people of different backgrounds and walks of life to reach these goals. Current programs include English as a Second Language & Civics Education, Immigrant Rights Project, Starting Line Youth Peer Mentoring Program, Chinatown Environmental Health & Justice Project, Counseling & Referral Services.
