Kentucky Mountain Housing Development Corporation (KMHDC) is a nonprofit corporation that provides quality, safe, and affordable housing for low-income families in Appalachia. We serve Clay, Jackson, and Owsley Counties, and the Red Bird area of Leslie and Bell Counties, with affordable new construction and home repair services. In addition, KMHDC originates and services low-rate loans for our homebuyer and home repair customers, from our revolving loan fund.
