South Carolina Fair Share is a nonpartisan, statewide membership organization dedicated to challenging injustice by empowering people in local communities to address issues that affect the quality of their lives. Fair Share especially encourages the participation of those who have traditionally had little or no voice in our society. By building relationships with individuals and groups throughout the state, Fair Share strives to get them to work together for change.

Made up of low income, moderate income and everyday South Carolinians, we are a diverse combination of affected consumers, individuals, citizen activists, and organizations with a mission to bring folks together to improve the health, safety and well-being of all people in the Palmetto State by creating an environment free of violence, exploitation, and discrimination in which all South Carolinians will have equal access to our society's resources and have control over the quality of their lives and those of their families and communities.
