Book Trust is a non-profit whose mission is to enrich the literacy culture of families in need by providing children the opportunity to choose, own, and delight in books. Book Trust provides eligible children with a $7 monthly ‘book credit’ to choose whatever books they’d like from Scholastic in-school catalogs – a very simple concept with huge impact.

Founded in 2001 in Fort Collins, Book Trust currently serves over 5,000 children in six states, and is set to double in size this school year. Our scope is national, and we’ll be growing significantly into the foreseeable future.
