Description:

Aegis Students is a dynamic student campaigning organisation which operates under the Aegis Trust, an NGO working towards the prevention of genocide. They raise awareness of genocide amongst the student population by the running of events such as film screenings, speaker events with genocide survivors, poster campaigns etc. They also campaign to raise the profile of its prevention on the political agenda by the lobbying of MPs and the use of local and national media. Aegis Students also acts as a fundraising unit for the projects of the Aegis Trust in educating young people, supporting survivors of genocide, research and policy work with governments.
