NELA is a non-profit professional association of lawyers who represent employees in employment matters. NELA advocates for employee rights and workplace fairness while promoting the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and judicial integrity. Founded in 1985, NELA advances and encourages the professional development of its members through networking, educational programs, publications and technical support. NELA promotes the workplace rights of individual employees through legislation, public policy and other advocacy activities.
