Mission:
The Center for Global Prosperity (CGP) is one of 13 policy centers at the Hudson Institute, a nonprofit, nonpartisan innovation-oriented policy research organization in Washington, D.C. At the Center, we provide a platform—through conferences, discussion, publications, and media appearances—to create awareness among U.S. and international opinion leaders as well as the general public, about the central role of the private sector, both for-profit and not-for-profit, in the creation of economic growth and prosperity in the developing world. The Center’s core publication is an annual Index of Philanthropy, which details the sources and magnitude of private giving to the developing world.
