Has anyone here ever imagined a world were money wasn't necessary? I have and I do every day. I have a dream of a world were people just love to do what they do. Weither it's healing people, building homes, serving people healthy food or coming up with new technology to heal our environment people just do and everyone shares their gift within. In doing this everyone is provided for. People have enough to eat, healthcare, beautiful homes to live most importantly education is free because it builds upon and invest in our most valuable resource - ourselves.
In light of my dream - I am beginning with a Free Yard Sale Day. The purpose is to get people thinking differently. What if we all shared and gave freely? Wouldn't there be enough for everyone. Well the dream has a long way to go, but I'm starting with a Free Yard Sale in my community on September 29th.
How to participate:
Click [Join this Group] on the right hand side of this page. You must be logged in to join.
If you have items in your house which you’re willing to give away for FREE or donate to charity please consider giving them away on Free Yard Sale Day. You are invited to get involved by holding your own Free Yard Sale and encouraging your neighbors to participate as well.
This event will take place across the greater Atlanta area and surrounding communities on Saturday, September 29, 2007 from 9am-6pm. You may participate for any length of time during these hours. Simply place a blue balloon on your mailbox when you are ready to start and take it down once you are finished.
ALL ITEMS placed in the yard sale MUST be FREE with no minimum on how much one person may take. Please keep in mind that this is not a junk sale. Submit items in usable condition.
Just imagine finding an item/s you need for FREE. Imagine the joy of freely giving something you don’t need to someone who does. Imagine the joy; imagine the community spirit of oneness. This event needs you and your neighbor’s participation.
If you have any questions or want ideas on how to hold this event in your neighborhood or community contact Monica at freeyardsale@gmail.com
That which is given freely - is received abundantly in return.
