Description:
Life’s Workers of the World (LWW) is an endeavor sponsored by the nonprofit Life’s Work Center in San Francisco.
This Idealist.org group and its associated website are venues for a worldwide discussion and a repository of career tools, stories, inspiration, and encouragement for people seeking more than just a job--their right livelihood, or life’s work.
We believe that, through the aggregate power of personal examples, individual life's workers can encourage others, and in so doing go to the root causes of a veritable catalogue of individual, societal, and global woes stemming at least in part from unsatisfying working lives.

Membership and participation in LWW are open to anyone, anywhere, who feels drawn to (or is already pursuing) a personal quest for a purposeful and fulfilling working life—employment that also pays the life’s worker appropriately for the skills and passions brought to an employer or clients.
