Description:

Industrialized animal agriculture is a leading contributor to global warming. It is bad for people, bad for animals, and bad for the planet. Our goal is to raise awareness about the environmental and health hazards of factory farming, also known as confined animal feeding operations (CAFOs). Meat and dairy production from factory farming is one of the leading causes of greenhouse gases and environmental pollution in the United States. Animals suffer brutal torture in sunless confinement. The overuse of pesticides, hormones, and antibiotics on factory farms is a threat to our health. Ending factory farms means taking back control of our food supply from giant corporations, and returning it to the hands of small family farmers and rural communities. Let's raise awareness about the pressing social, ethical, and ecological issues that are tied to our food system.
