Mission:
The VA Peninsula Command of The Salvation Army serves Hampton, Newport News, as well as part of York County, Virginia; our service center in Hayes, VA serves Gloucester and Mathews Co, VA to meet basic needs of those in crisis in our community, food, shelter, medical, clothing, and emergency situations, also youth mentoring. Veterans Transitional Housing Program is located at the Hampton VA Center.
