The goal of the Green Science Collaborative is to understand, promote and link environmental science studies on the collective ecosystem of the Merrimack River, the Great Marsh, and Ipswich Bay near Newburyport, Mass with other global studies. It's our hope that as we sensitively explore and document all the region has to offer in scientific discovery, the world will consider this a great source for further study in such areas as advanced marine biology, fisheries, avian biology, riverine chemistry, botanical pharmacology, ocean dynamics, climate change, and so much more.
We aim to link researchers, professionals, teachers, parents and students to create an atmosphere of collaboration and thereby elevate each project's success.
Scientists and researchers world-wide are encouraged to join us and provide comments, suggestions, research information, internship opportunities, and Web site links.
