Opening September 2008, Washington Yu Ying Public Charter School in Washington, DC is the first Chinese language immersion program freely available to DC residents. Starting with PreK-4 through 1st grade, we will to grow to 8th grade by 2015. As an applicant to the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), we are working to create a state of the art structured inquiry curriculum in an English-Chinese language immersion environment.
