YouthAIDS, a domestic and international education and prevention initiative of PSI, uses media, pop culture, music, theatre and sport to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS and reach 600 million young people in more than 60 countries with life-saving messages, products, services and care.
With just $10, YouthAIDS is able to provide one youth with a year of necessary health products, services and valuable health education to help educate and protect them against HIV.

There are many ways that you can get involved with YouthAIDS and our cause!
*Learn the basic facts about how you can and cannot become infected with HIV.
*Get tested and know your HIV status.
*Share HIV prevention information with your family and friends.
*Volunteer with HIV/AIDS prevention organizations, local community groups who serve persons living with HIV/AIDS, etc. To find volunteer opportunities in your area, use an Internet search engine with the keywords: "volunteer" and "HIV/AIDS" and the name of your state or country.
*Start an email chain to your friends
*Start a peer education group where you discuss important issues
*Research local events in your area and see if you can set up an informational stand at an event where you can educate your community!

-Organize a bake sale, a dance-a-thon, battle of the bands, or a car wash
-Put together talent shows, dance or art programs and other community-related events or forums in your community that will bring the youth together and educate them on preventative measures that can be taken to help fight the spread of HIV/AIDS.
