The Texas Conference of Churches Disaster Recovery Program helps organize and train disaster recovery organizations in Texas and works with those already organized to help them build their capacities to best serve disaster survivors. We place AmeriCorps*VISTAs (Volunteers in Service to America) in Disaster Recovery Organizations across the state to fill a variety of behind-the-scenes, capacity-building positions.
