World Experience (WE) strives to strengthen international links of friendship, support and understanding among students, families and communities through a personally guided program of sharing. WE believes that the sensitive awareness of cultural differences, developed when students and families live together, results in mutual respect for each other’s cultures.

WE is open to all people who share a realization that the path to international understanding is intercultural experiences, people–to–people encounters, and cultural and language studies. The evidence is clear that only as people learn to live together and to respect cultural differences can there be hope for enduring peace in the world.
