Mission:

The mission of the Council for Zimbabwe (Zim Council) is to engage and organize the Zimbabwe Diaspora and concerned global citizens to mobilize financial, human, and material resources for the reconstruction of a peaceful, prosperous, and progressive Zimbabwe.

The success of building a bright future for Zimbabwe requires effective coordination and collaboration to connect resources to needs. Because no single agency or individual has the range of funds, skills, knowledge, and experience to tackle the country's multi-dimensional problems, the impact of a well coordinated and coherent response effort can be much greater than when individuals work alone. Other important benefits include the reduced transaction costs of obtaining and deploying resources; improved flow of information, strengthened team work, and strategic networks. Coordination also enables stakeholders, including government and civil society, to collectively devise shared principles and objectives, which provide the foundation for the long term process of nation-building. It also creates opportunities for collective social bargaining to improve policy outcomes and respond to priority problems in an effective and efficient manner

Through the Council for Zimbabwe organizations and individuals can work together to harness resources and successfully integrate them into public and private institutions needed to build a prosperous Zimbabwe.
