Mission:
Interfaith Works is a nonsectarian social service agency providing a broad array of direct social service programs to over 30,000 low-income and homeless neighbors in Montgomery County, MD with the help of 7,000 volunteers annually.
Our social services and advocacy programs provide direct assistance to disadvantaged populations, including the homeless, low-income adults, families and immigrants, as well as those suffering from acute or chronic poverty, those with physical or mental disabilities and others for whom economic and social realities prevent full and productive functioning in the community.
Our programs include Homeless shelters and Housing programs for our most vulnerable neighbors, and Clothing Centers, Mentoring and Emergency Assistance programs that help families living paycheck to paycheck in our high cost County.
