The Nicolaysen Art Museum and Discovery Center is a cutting edge contemporary art museum located in a beautiful, historic power plant in Casper, WY. The museum features over 10,000 square feet of exhibition space along with a large family-friendly hands-on Discovery Center. The museum was founded in 1967 and renovated in 1990. The Nicolaysen Art Museum is a strong community partner that presents roughly twelve temporary exhibitions a year along with public art projects, art festivals, community concerts and major fund raising events and galas.
