Mission:

Mission:
Who Are We:
“ACER” Accompany with Education and Responsibility working in connection with Foundation CONIN
We are a nonprofit organization with a multidisciplinary team of professionals and specialists who have a desire to improve the lives of others and who feel responsible for the members of society that suffer from social marginalization and poverty.

Where We Work:
We work in the neighborhood Las Flores in Vicente López, Buenos Aires.

Our Objective:
Eliminate childhood nutrition by attacking its causes. ACER, implementing the successful programs of Foundation CONIN, aims to defeat childhood malnutrition through three basic pillars: Education, Assistance and Investigation

How We Do It:
-Programs for Nutrition and Early Childhood Stimulation
-Services provided by: psychologists, nutritionists, teachers, speech therapists, social workers, pediatricians and sociologists
-Cooking Workshops
-Arts and Crafts and Creativity Workshop for Children between 5 and 13 years old

Our Dream:
Create a space where we can develop an integrated multidisciplinary center modeled after Foundation CONIN in Mendoza, Argentina that offers the following services: medical, nutritional, social work, speech therapy and child psychology.
Workshops in the following areas: nutrition, cooking, sewing and arts and crafts
Rooms for the following areas: early childhood stimulation, breastfeeding and child care

Social Objectives:
a) Achieve the social inclusion of low income families.
b) Prevent and combat through an integrated method the social ills that are the origins of extreme poverty and its consequence: malnutrition.
c) Create for children the best conditions for an easy transition into elementary school.
d) Educate high-risk adolescents through arts and crafts, music and sports.
e) Work in cooperation with local schools, nonprofits, government agencies and community members to create a network that will improve the quality of life for all community residents.
f) Form teams to educate community members that suffer from deficiencies about nutrition, early childhood stimulation, arts and crafts, music and sports.
g) Motivate families to participate in small businesses with technical support and help from Centro ACER and its network of local partners.
h) Creation of a space for the prevention and eradication of childhood malnutrition with a team of psychologists, nutritionists, teachers, speech therapists, social workers, pediatricians and sociologists. Our team of professionals will help educate families who suffer from malnutrition and face social dangers how to better guide their children.
