Mission:
We help adults learn to read by providing FREE one-to-one confidential tutoring and support. We also offer ESL and other basic skills. Our volunteer tutors are matched with a learner in their area at convenient times and sites. Tutor supplies and workshops are free, and ongoing support is available from our home office in the Triangle South Enterprise Center located in Dunn, NC. Our main classroom and computer lab are also located at this small business incubator. We have lots of volunteer opportunities available including clerical, fundraising and recruiting. Our Literacy Ambassador is available for speaking engagements at area civic groups and churches. He is a gentlemen who came to us in his mid-70s to learn to read. His story is guaranteed to make an impact!
