Mission:
JUNTOS is a 501(c)3 organization founded in 2002 and comprised of Mexican and other Latino immigrants in Philadelphia. Our mission is to build power for justice in the city of Philadelphia and members’ home countries in order to create vibrant, organized, vocal, and healthy communities. Over the past ten years, the Latino immigrant population in South Philadelphia has grown to approximately 12,000. As recently as four years ago, this Latino population was invisible to most Philadelphians; it did not have a communal center or a voice in the City’s affairs.
