At Home-Start Barnet we give personalised, one to one support to families experiencing problems. Our aim is to give the parents someone they can trust who will listen to them, help them to develop improved coping mechanisms and confidence, stronger parent/child relationships and wider social support networks.

This support is given by our Volunteers who undergo full initial and ongoing training and supervision. Training is free and travel costs are reimbursed.

Home-Start Barnet is a voluntary organisation which is part of Home-Start UK, a national organisation. All the families we support will have a least one child under the age of 5.
