Mission:
Creating Futures is a health careers exploration program for Boston area high school students.
Recognizing that as our population grows increasingly diverse, we need more diverse health professionals, the goal of this program is to stimulate students’ interest in pursuing a career in the health care field and to offer them the tools to achieve that goal. The purpose of the Creating Futures Program is to introduce minority high school students to rewarding careers in pharmacy, nursing, physician assistant studies, dental hygiene, radiography, nuclear medicine technology, and other health professions.
Creating Futures provides a culturally appropriate forum for minority high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to explore the rewarding opportunities in health care today.
Founded in 1823, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is a private, coeducational college offering graduate, professional and undergraduate degrees in the health sciences. The College has campuses in Boston and Worcester, Massachusetts and Manchester, New Hampshire.
Professional or undergraduate degrees are offered in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences, nursing, physician assistant studies, dental hygiene, radiologic sciences, environmental sciences, health psychology, chemistry, and premedical and health studies. Graduate programs are offered in regulatory affairs and health policy, drug discovery and development, pharmaceutical sciences, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, and applied natural products.
