Mission:
NEW MEXICO'S WEEK FOR THE ANIMALS, September 21 to September 27, 2003. For the forth year this event will bring together people throughout New Mexico, humane societies, shelters, animal welfare programs, schools, corporations and local government, to build a better world for all animals.
There are only three states in the nation that dedicates a week to animal welfare. Utah led the way and New Mexico is the second state to take up the challenge. To make New Mexicos Week for the Animals a success.
Animal organizations throught out New Mexico are joining togeather to make this annual event a focal point for bringing animal welfare issues and humane education programs to the public. Animal Protection of New Mexico, Inc, the No More Homeless Pets Coalition and Spay New Mexico are all planning special events for the week.
Special events will make New Mexicos Week for the Animals enjoyable and educational for both adults and children.
