CAN is a nonprofit corporation that works to raise awareness of community action in Nebraska, to coordinate communication between the state Community Services Block Grant administrator and the community action agencies, to provide training and programs, and to perform a number of other tasks related to the strengthening of community action in Nebraska. Amonth these is the administration of two of the leading AmeriCorps programs in our state.
