Mission:
People first is a disabled activist organizaiton run primarily by disabled volunteers, along with a skeleton staff of paid employees.
People First of Tennessee wants to get everyone out of institutions, group homes and centers and into supportive linging and jobs.
We want small towns to have more trasportation and public transportation to have handicapped access to their vehicles.
We want the disable to be able to reach their dreams, live on their own and drive their own vehicles.
People first wants to educate the public about disable persons (both physical and mental), and help remove the stigma society places on these people.
