Mission:
The South Asian Women's Creative Collective (SAWCC) is an organization dedicated to the advancement, visibility, and development of emerging and established South Asian women artists.
SAWCC is an alternative community within which to explore the creative process and politics of representation. We are an interactive, multi-disciplinary collective that provides women of South Asian descent links to various communities and encourage their growth as artists by providing a venue to exchange ideas and feedback on their creative work and facilitate collaboration on projects.
Our programs and services include monthly meetings, public performances, exhibitions, and newsletters.
