The Interfaith Leadership Project of
Cicero, Berwyn, and Stickney (ILP) is a
church based community organization
working to build power for families and
institutions in the above named
communities. The organization began in
1989 when seven Cicero churches started
organizing to counter the forces
pressuring local families. Today ILP's
dues paying membership is composed of
ten local institutions: six
congregations, a steel company, a bank,
a community health center, and a
hospital
