Mission:
Connecticut Working Families is a rapidly growing coalition of unions and community organizations united to hold politicians accountable to issues of economic justice, such as Living Wage jobs, universal health care, and affordable housing.
Working Families combines grassroots organizing with bold and effective electoral work, including the establishment of the Working Families Party -- a progressive labor and community based political party.
In Connecticut, Working Families is leading the fight for justice at Wal-Mart, passing local living wage ordinances, and campaigning for state legislation addressing outsourcing, paid sick days, and more.
