Does my audio or video project have to be similar to yours? No, the format of your project can deviate from our standard interview and story formats. You can interview people, create a narrative, tell a story of yourself, etc. There are no real limits to what you can do other than the length of the project. How long can my audio or video project be? This depends on the project. However, we suggest that are no more than 15 minutes. What does Idealist.org do with my audio or video projects? First, we will add an introduction and conclusion to your podcasts that contains our Idealst.org music, identifies the episode and credits you as the creator. We will specify your contact information only if you request so. We may add a disclaimer to any podcast or video acknowledging that the opinions represented in the product do not necessarily reflect those of Idealist.org/AWB or its employees. We may also ask to alter your podcast in some way. This can include, but is not limited to, narration, music, organization, graphics or other areas that may be edited. If we want to make changes to your podcast, we will contact you before we distribute it. Does Idealist.org own my audio or video project? No. You retain all of the rights and responsibilities of your podcast(s) or video(s) and may distribute it in additional ways if you wish. However, we retain the right to decide if we will remove the project from our website, RSS feeds or third-party services. Our only request is that if you distbute it in other ways that you mention our Podcasts. How do I know if you will accept my project? If you have an idea in mind that you have not begun, simply contact us about your idea. We will let you know why we would or would not post it and changes you can make. If you have already created an audio or video project, simply pass it along to us and we will let you know if we can post it. We reserve the right to not post any audio or video project for any reason. How do you compensate the creators? We do not compensate contributors in any way. Your participation with Idealist.org/AWB as a Guest Podcaster is not a contract of employment and is not intended to create any express or implied promises or guarantee of any terms of employment. How many people listen to your podcasts? This depends on the episode and a number of other factors. Your story will be featured on our homepage for up to two weeks and seen by the over 65,000 unique vistors we have a day. The Podcast has over 5000 downloads a month and consistently ranks in the Top 10 Nonprofit podcasts in the iTunes directory. Intrigued? Ready to share your story with the world?
